Samsung has started rolling out Marshamallow updates to its last years' flasgships S6 and S6 Edge in India with the release of S7 and S7 Edge in the country. The Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and the S6 Edge+ have all started receiving the
updates today.
The update weighs about 1.2 GB in size and also it will be bringing significant changes to the device. The update brings the features like Doze mode, Google Now on Tap, advanced app permissions, updated interface, new Samsung browser, cross-app functionality and more.
The update will be providing with some new functionalities and improved performance so keep an eye on the notification bar to check if you have received the OTA or alternatively you can manually check for the OTA by going into Settings->About Device->Software Updates.
